Two Weyerhaeuser mills sold to B.C. company
Weyerhaeuser announced Tuesday the completion of the sale of its Carrot River sawmill and Hudson Bay plywood mill to C&C Wood Products of Quesnel, B.C. In May, C&C reached a deal with Weyerhaeuser to purchase and reopen the two mills, which have been idle since January 2007.
A Quesnel man has been in and out of court, awaiting verdict. Tony Adams, 24, who was charged with impaired driving, impaired driving causing bodily harm and assault causing bodily harm, back in December 2007, spent three days last week in provincial court.
