1) As long as there is a provincial debt, it is a sign that there hasn't been enough tax collected in the past. Harmonization makes it easier for retailers - they probably will just have one tax authority to deal with instead of 2 (Federal plus Provincial). Apparently nobody wants to pay taxes, and instead wants every government service for free! They call them shoplifters who take something without paying for it. If you are a beneficiary of government services then PAY FOR THEM!
2) The NDP is apparently in the pocket of the unions, and usually(?) is on the side of the strikers, causing a lot of inconvenience and troubles to voters. That's not the kind of government voters want. Rest in Peace!
