TY Jack...Happy New Year to everyone.

I apologize for my outburst. It was not meant for you personally. I was just trying to say that we, as a group, should not settle for low amounts to satisfy AZ. I could have chosen different language. Like everyone else here, I'm very frustrated with this situation. Seroquel has destroyed my health and altered my life and I'm not going to let AZ add insult to injury. I have a diabetes diagnoses leading to kidney failure and am on dialysis now three days a week. I consider what AZ did nothing short of attempted murder. Let's hope for some positive news next month. Again, sorry about that and Happy new year to you. |

Corruption everywhere,
It takes a big person to admit fault. I understand your frustraions. I have been vomiting & neasuated since midnight. For me this is a regular flareup of pancreatitus. I understand your point and you are right about not letting AZ off the hook for less than a fair settlement. We all have health issuses we are dealing with. Just remember we are all in this together. I don't want just a check for my health issues, I want criminal charges brought against them. AZ has ruined the quality of life for many of us. How can someone even put a dollar amount on my health? Our lives will never be the same, because we were sold out by AZ, so they can make billions. The sick thing is they expect to lie themselves out of this. I just want the truth to come out a trial. AZ knows the truth. We know the truth. It's time the jury knows the truth. |

I just watch and episode of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura. The show alledges that the medicine and food is being poisoned to reduce the population. I know it sounds crazy and I kinda think it's true after our experiences with AZ, but it is something to think about.

Lost my life insurance to. tried to get more they turned me down because of the sugar. My eye sight is bad. This crap depresses me . And I am so tired. I can be fine one minute the next I get sick feel weird and it takes the rest of the day to feel some what better. is this part of it or am I going crazy???

Sorry to hear about your suffering & pain. You mention being depressed and I think most people tend to forget the mental aspects we suffer as a result of being poisoned. You have my sympathy. Most of us on this board suffer from taking Seroquel. I wish as part of any award or settlement that everyone involved in AZ cover up ought to be forced to take 1200mg of Seroquel everyday for the rest of their lives. Lets see how much they believe in that poison they sold us!
Well Happy New Year if you can call it happy. I don't! |

I have had to change jobs three times. Before I got diabetes from Seroquel I was happy at a job of seventeen years. I changed jobs to better my career. My husbands job of 25 years closed. The stress of the two caused sleeplessness plus the stress which I was given the seroquel. I was a zombie for six months. I cried all the time lost my job was labled an emotional reck. My eye sight was so bad it looked like I was looking through wax paper. By then I was on Effexor and Seroquel.

I was at my mom and dads one day. My neice was there, she is taking a nursing class. She had a meter and was practicing taking our blood pressor and sugar levels when she got to me. she looked scared and thought she did it wrong. She did it again. She told me I should see my doctor. My sugar was 596. Thats why I could not see. Thats why I could not function. Had it not been for my niece I would not be here.

Well two weeks from today AZ goes on trial in NJ for the poison they call Seroquel. We will all be watching these trials very close. The good news is two weeks isn't very far away and we are that much closer to getting some justice.

Interesting article here:
Metabolic Tests Ignored in Medicaid Patients on Antipsychotics Antipsychotic-induced metabolic disturbances receive little attention among Medicaid patients treated with second-generation drugs, according to an analysis of more than 100,000 cases. {I believe we will just be round one-there are so many people who have been harmed by this drug that don't have the means to attain representation for their injuries} "More effort is needed to ensure that patients who receive second-generation drugs are screened for diabetes and dyslipidemia and monitored for potential adverse drug effects, beginning with baseline testing of serum glucose and lipids, so that patients can receive appropriate preventive care and treatment," they added.Concurrently with the FDA warning, the American Diabetes Association and American Psychiatric Association published a consensus statement that described the metabolic risks associated with second-generation antipsychotics and specified a monitoring protocol for patients {I feel the FDA will finally back us} Investigators examined records for 109,451 Medicaid recipients with a new prescription claim for a second-generation antipsychotic: aripiprazole (Abilify), olanzapine (Zyprexa), olanzapine/fluoxetine (Symbyax), quetiapine (Seroquel), risperidone, or ziprasidone (Geodon). The study was supported by Pfizer. Morrato disclosed relationships with Eli Lilly. Co-author Robert J. Valuck disclosed relationships with Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Janssen Pharmaceutica, Forest Laboratories, and H. Lundbeck A/S. Co-author John W. Newcomer disclosed relationships with Janssen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Wyeth, Solvay, Otsuka, Sanofi, Lundbeck, Tikvah, Vanda, Organon, Schering Plough, Dainippon Sumitomo, Compact Clinicals/Jones, and Bartlett Publishers. Co-author Benjamin Druss disclosed relationships with Pfizer. Co-author Richard Allen disclosed relationships with Eli Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline, and Novartis. {funny you don't see az on the list} Read the entire article here: http://www.medpagetoday.com/Psychiatry/Genera... 13 & counting |
