OPP confirm one man dead in Clinton, Ont. shooting, ''lockdown'' lifted

Ontario Provincial Police say a man was killed in a shooting near a wildlife area in a rural municipality in southwestern Ontario. The man died in a shooting around 5 p.m. Saturday in Clinton, a community in Central Huron, but say only that an investigation is continuing, according to police.

Heavy police presence north of Clinton following reports of shooting

The OPP have flooded the area north of here, after unconfirmed reports of shootings and a manhunt in Central Huron, not far from the Hullett Conservation Area. Police cruisers and officers are situated along London Rd. and at the ends of Conservation Rd. and Hydro Line between Clinton and Londesborough.

Walper was last seen wearing an olive green shirt, blue jeans and a green and white baseball hat.
