Canadian judge rejects Imperial Oil application for permit, halts bid to build oil sands mine

CALGARY, Alberta : Imperial Oil Ltd. failed Wednesday to get a judge to reinstate a key water permit to build a US$8 billion oil sands mine in Northern Alberta. via International Herald Tribune
