Assembly Democrats Kill Republican call for fuel tax holiday
Republicans in the NY State Senate and in the Assembly Wednesday both called for a sales tax holiday during the summer months as a means of taking a little of the financial strain off motorists who are facing $4.00 or more per gallon of gasoline.

Say what you want about them, but for all the bashing they use to get, they just continue to grow and grow and grow....
|
|
yes but they also keep undercutting everyone and don't pay their drivers what they should be getting they are out for themselves and could care less about the driver

Is the Democratic party really the problem? Did they cause the recession? |
|

Just something funny? GREEN BAY POLICE CALLS Theft: A semi-tractor was reported stolen Thursday from Schneider National. The tractor's last known location was California GPS???? |

Agree-They are doing to smaller trucking operations what Walmart has done to smaller store chains. Jewel, Dominick's, Kroger, etc. paid decent wages and had health insurance for employees. Now they have cut way back to compete with Walmart and the smaller independent mom and pop stores are all but gone. Walmart does it with LOW WAGES. Schneider is the same bottom line LOW WAGES for drivers, no one can compete unless they work for almost NOTHING. |

Beware! Anyone hiring that many in a recession has a big turnover. That's a red flag. That is confirmed by so many, many of their drivers. If they were any good to work for, they would have plenty of drivers already.

If the goverment looses the tax revenue, the roads will not get repaired. The Republicans and big business since Regan have declared war on the middle class. Do some homework and open your eyes!
