louisville truck show march 27-29

large gathering of truckers, recruiters, etc One interesting feature not on the official calender there, the gathering of truckers in the POPPA JOHNS STADIUM parking lot from Wednesday night till Sunday with many social and philanthropic events planned by and for truckers.

a free concert Friday 730 pm by Leland Martin to benefit Chance Rogers a 12 year old bone cancer fighter.

A gourmet dinner for 3 with Bubba Bo ( Eric Boulanger of WLW radio) cooked by the same 5 star chef who was in charge of all the food venues of the 1984 Olympics ( who is now a driver).( seats at the table sold at auction Friday at 7 to benefit special Olympics)

A benefit auction after the concert to benefit Chance Rogers, also a head shaving to celebrate the donation of more than 500 hand made hats for young cancer patients ( yours truly will end up bald there LOL)

Friday evening The Bays Family will provide a free concert late in the evening and possibly during the day also.

Saturday the Kentucky soy bean growers will host a free pig roast for drivers and guests at the Poppa Johns Parking lot. Also Saturday a benefit auction to provide funds to Operation Rogers.( see operationrogers.org) and a karaoke singing with a few guests from Nashville Tn.( names withheld at request)

Thursday Friday and Saturday nights at midnight a live radio broadcast carried on XM RADIO channel 173 and on Americas' Trucking Radio Network ( WLW Cincinnati home based) featuring guests in the parking lot with Eric Boulanger ( Bubba BO).

Also planned a Chili Cook off and a "Poker Walk" with the winners to play a live show down poker tournament I believe Friday midnight while "on the air".

A prayer breakfast and evening prayer sessions to ask for guidance and assistance for our nation and our industry and many other events both spontaneous and planned by truckers ( remember no one is in charge)..
