Boxer Dave Hilton arrested after disappearing from halfway house
(CP) - Boxer Dave Hilton is back in police custody and is in trouble after failing to return to a halfway house last week.
Hilton, 43, was considered by the Correctional Service of Canada to be unlawfully at large while on parole. Montreal police, acting on a tip, arrested Hilton on Monday afternoon. Police spokeswoman Anie Lemieux said he did not resist arrest.
In 2001, Hilton was convicted of sexually assaulting his daughters when they were teenagers but he was granted parole after serving two-thirds of his sentence. Read more
