Man arrested on charges of robbing cashier, customer at a Pollo Tropical
Fort Lauderdale police arrested a 29-year-old man on charges he burst into a Pollo Tropical restaurant and ordered everyone to the ground before snatching money from a customer and a cashier, authorities said Sunday.
Lee Collins, of Fort Lauderdale, walked into the restaurant at 1819 S. Federal Highway about 5 p.m. Saturday and yelled, 'Everybody get on the ground! I ain't playing, I'll blow your head off!' according to police spokeswoman Detective Katherine Collins, who is not related to Lee Collins.
