Business owners are "the ones" they should be listening to? They represent the entire community, not just those who own businesses. They should be listening to the entire community, because it affects the entire community.

They gotta know the ones they aren't hearing from are probably okay with what they have already done. If they now reverse it for a handful of bellyaches, what happens if the folks who are being quiet now get upset and start complaining? Are they going to flip flop again?

Maybe that's the nature of the community they represent, though.

The entire community are entitled to start a business any time they wish. At which time they may operate it as either smoking or non smoking. So why should they have a say in present business owners daily operations.?

The problem is socialists consider businesses as community property where the rights of the individual are meaningless.

Declaring private property "public space" is one of the most dangerous things these socialists have pulled off.

Just where in the constitution does it suggest that once a person opens a business...they lose constitutional protections that come with private property rights?

What a dangerous bunch of socialists.
