Pleasant neighborhood...not the kind of place you expect drug related violence (assuming it is drug related).

Such a super guy, he shall be missed. What happened to his doggie? I'd hate to think the dog is left homeless or in the pound...

Facts Please

OPD lets not jump to conclusions like the WPD recently, only to find out later the individual killed himself.

That number will no longer be put out. You add Orlando and Orange County and that number will scare away the tourist. -Sick of it All- wrote: So how many murders does that make this year in Orlando??

I think the wp police suspected suicide very eary on....they told the neighbors there was no need for concern. Unless this man hid his Jeep and let his dog out to roam before killing himself, how would these factors happen? Killers take their nurder weapon, too. I'm sure the police have a real good idea what happened....

Jandro wrote: <quoted text> Not nearly enough evidently. The death count just keeps on rolling in The City Bloodifull - Orlando. The cops seem unable to do anything but push people doen stairs and give traffic tickets. The police can't moniter every home, car & person in Orlando. It's not "one on one" protection! Don't blame deaths on the police, esp. suicides. The larger the town, the more murders...it's called "ratio".

People get tossed out of long term jobs every day, that's the norm in the New America. He was hardly unskilled. Usually you get two weeks for every year. If you can't find a job after six months, then you get worried. There are a lot of jobs in IT that have to do with management of security. Especially in Florida.
I suppose his job was outsourced to India. All the Tribune websites are now same, including the LA Times.

I can't believe this happened to Brian. He was a friend of mine..... I just talked to him last week, he is really going to be missed. I can't believe someone would kill him, he would give anyone anything if they needed help, so why rob and kill him? I don't understand it.

My boyfriend was good friends with him and talked to him last week about him layoff, he wasn't happy about it, but he wasn't too worried. Brian was a very intelligent individual, and knew he would not have a problem finding another job. He also said he had plenty of income to fall back on, and he wasn't anywhere close to destitute. I can't see anybody committing suicide because he lost his job! Thousands of people have lost their jobs and some with families to feed. Hope they find out soon, what happened.
