Curb fuel prices, UK groups tell profitable oil cos

Oil companies should use some of their record profits to lower high retail fuel prices, Britain's largest trade union and its Automobile Association said on Thursday in response to Royal Dutch Shell's results.

Iraqi oil minister sees "no need" to increase oil production ahead of OPEC talks

Iraq's Oil Minister Hussein al-Shahristani said Thursday he saw "no need" for OPEC nations to increase production pointing to the latest information which showed there was no shortage of oil supplies.
