TransCanada reaches two-year revenue agreement with Alberta producers
- TransCanada Corp. (TSX:TRP) said Tuesday its Nova Gas Transmission subsidiary has reached an agreement with shippers on revenue from its Alberta system for this year and next.
TransCanada said it expects that earnings from the system - $138 million in 2007 - "will not be materially impacted by this settlement."
TransCanada plans to apply to the Alberta Utilities Commission before April 1 for approval of the Alberta system settlement and determination of final tolls for 2008.
TransCanada said it will continue to charge interim tolls until a decision from the AUC is received. Read more
