Huh? Didn't Norm Green move the North Stars to Dallas? Aren't we just a wee bit confused here?

Could you please explain you posting. Please?

What did Irwin have to do with the move of the Stars? Why do you think he is a used condom?

PS: I corrected your spelling errors

As the old adage states: "Good guys always seem to finish last"! Well in this case, Mr. Jacobs and Genmar got caught in the economic downturn but don't count him out yet. He is an example of what it means to be a comeback kid.

Genmar will be back, under his ownership, and will be stronger for it. The recreation boating industry is a good example of his stewardship and business acumen. Also, his unnoticed philantrophic endeavors has helped many TC organizations and institutions.

Just wait and see what the future holds for Irwin Jacobs.

Another fine contribution by Joe and Stan's bar to the west 7TH street community today. A pedestrian hit and severely injured outside the troubled watering hole. Aren't we lucky to have them.

Irv "The Liquidator" made his bones liquidating the old Minneapolis mobster Kid Cann's brewery known as Grain Belt back in 74, 75. He was financed in the deal by Kid Cann's successor the recently deceased Carl Pohlad.
Pohlad took over for Kid Cann when he bought out the Rapid Transit Corp. from Cann and Fred Ossana in 1959/1960. For the next decade Pohlad would "loot" the RTC , funneling money into mob controlled Vegas casinos.
I find it ironic that Tom Petters is on trial when in fact he and his ponzi scheme could not have existed without the help of these old Kid Cann organized crime networks of which Jacobs is a member in good standing.

Anyone remember this?

Fingerhut Calls for Bids on Assets
May 13, 2002
Fingerhut moved a step closer to shutting down by inviting liquidators to bid on its assets.

The Minnetonka, Minn.-based catalog retailer sent a letter Friday calling for bids to a group of more than 40 liquidation companies and asset resellers. The letter set May 22 as the deadline for bidding.

Just what is the relevance between a business on the street and a traffic accident on that street near the business? Was either the pedestrian or the driver drunk from consuming alcohol at that bar?

If this happened in front of a church, would you still blame the church? Would you say, "Well, you know how those Catholics are?"

Welcome back after an extended absence! Are you aware of any North Stars / Irwin Jacobs connection? I think these guys are really confused.

We missed your friendly grimace at our last gathering!
