Lassonde Industries ends 2007 on strong note, Q4 profit nearly triples
- Strong fourth-quarter operating results powered Lassonde Industries Inc. (TSX:LAS.A) to a $23.3-million profit last year, up 70 per cent from 2006, the producer of bottled juices and other food products announced Thursday..
Lassonde's fourth-quarter net income was $9.3 million or $1.40 per share, up 138 per cent from $3.9 million or 58 cents per share in fourth quarter of 2006.
Its annual sales rose 13.5 per cent to just under $401 million in 2007, including $112.7 million in the fourth quarter. That compared with sales of $353.3 million in 2006, including $91.8 million in the fourth quarter of that year. Read more
