Right!!! Why hasn't the CEO moved to Roanoke? Why should he want a staff that far removed? Where is Best Buy offices? Do they split their buying group?

This was the plan from the first moment they hired the new CEO. Advance Auto was to move to him in Minneapolis, not the other way around. I suspect the Roanoke HQ will slowly transfer to Minneapolis over the next few years, unless the CEO is dumped before then.

From an article in MSN Money earlier this year:

Before starting his job in early January, he persuaded the company to open offices near his Minnesota home so he wouldn't have to commute to the company's Roanoke, Va., headquarters.

The Minnesota offices won't be finished until June. Until then, Jackson can use a corporate jet to commute -- when he isn't working from home."
