United Airlines' parent improves cash position

United Airlines parent UAL Corp. unveiled transactions Wednesday that the carrier said will have the effect of adding about $275 million to the company's cash position.

"Improves cash position" for whom, Glenn Tilton? I would want the corporate account to be full when I wrote myself a nice fat bonus check.

United Airlines is making money, that's nice. And if they start to do bad, no worries, Congress can bail them out with your money.
