Mr Wilson,
Airline crew members do not get paid until the aircraft pushes back from the gate. Therefore, during boarding and when we are out in the terminal we are not getting paid. The clock also stops when the aircraft blocks back in. Yes, during deplaning we are not getting paid. So I'm sure you can understand why the crew would not want to have passengers on board. Especially ,someone as arrogant and ignorant as you are.
[QUOTE who="How exactly does one engage someone in a conversation to tie one up? Sounds like some missing details to me. I have said for years by some of the nut jobs I have seen on these planes that Southwest must have a ticket counter at an asylum.
My last flight on Southworst was delayed by three hours. So what did they do? They yanked us all off the plane, yet the stewardesses and the pilots stayed on. The terminal was hot noisy and there were no seats left or food. I could have sat in the nice airconditioned plane and eaten peanuts and drank Mr. Pibb and asked the steardesses for up to date information every twenty minutes as is guaranteed me by passenger rights and kept the pilot on his toes by asking when we were leaving, but nooo. They had to stay on the plane and nap. Wish I got paid to nap. Airline employees are the laziest people!!!![/QUOTE]
