Airlines' on-time rates up in August
U.S. airlines' on-time performance and baggage handling improved in August, compared to the same month a year ago, the Transportation Department said Thursday.

Actually, airlines were more on schedule in August. On-time is a euphemism. One cannot make up or lose time. Ask a physicist. Time is just that quantity we measure by our clocks. Since we cannot control it, some scientists claim that time really does not exist.
