Midwest Death Watch Trifecta: Cash Infusions, Outsourcing and Bag Fees

Struggling carrier Midwest Airlines has sealed a deal for $60 million in new financing, and has inked another bargain to add 12 regional jets to its fleet, while trimming its 717 holdings.

Once again, it was lucky that AirTrans was out of the deal with merging the two company. Midwest is bleeding badly and will continue until it can't exist. Good Luck!!!! Northworst have its own problem and now Republic stealing United Airlines fund Express contract to buy a piece of flying for Midwest. Sounds like Air Wisconsin all over again. Republic have been booted out of Frontier flying because its jets can't produce revenues and suck in more fly than flying CRJ700/900 or the Q400. There is no room for FUEL STARVING EMB170/175s. Its only good quality is there are two restroom instead of one.

Interesting that you mention Air Wisconsin, not many people are familiar with the raw deal that United gave them.
