This is old news - additionally, AFA blew any opportunity for CHAOS at NWA when in August 2006, after a bankruptcy judge gave AFA permission to strike, International union President Pat Friend advised the local NWA union to postpone a strike in order to not panic the public. NWA appealed the bankruptcy judge's original order and won. Afterwards, AFA's lawyers lost every appeal they filed, and then just dropped the case altogehter, instead of ultimately appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court as they promised the flight attendants they would.
AFA is a sorry, pathetic excuse for a union. |
