Sure is interesting how the mass media shows a Spanair liveried MD80 trailing smoke when in actuality.... wreckage shows it to be in full Star Alliance Span Air colors.

Does Star Alliance have the national and international media on its payrolls. Sky and Daily Mail for example. Investigations need to be done.

Truth in European media......right. God rest those souls on that ill fated flight

What did you expect? The plane that crashed was SPANAIR. So if you were doing a story on this crash would you run to the picture archives and look for a picture of a STAR alliance aircraft? Another paranoid conspiracy nut.

NO FLOYD media needs to be truthful and not simply an issue that is more complex.

Big businesses are letting accountability of their execs slip by as underperforming CEO's of hide behind subsidiary after subsidiary.

What you do Floyd "hole" is to run dual pictures with explanations.

Pax, you are obviously proud of your knowledge of Airline Trivia, but the public doesn't care and the press can't be experts on all 10 zillion different companies or specialties in the world. I don't see why you sniff a plot. In at least ONE of the articles I read, ownership by SAS was mentioned. The fact is that they were operating under the Spanair certificate. Virgin is owned 49% by Singapore. Would you blame Singapore if Virgin crashed?

You may be too young to remember, but Spanair had some pretty bad accidents BEFORE SAS bought them. Were THEY a plot?
