I hope people see what a crappy airline this really is! They are driving all other airlines out of business by not raising ticket prices...although I guess you get what you pay for!

Ill, you sound like someone who got laid off from an airline that doesn't know how to manage it's business! Or you were fired for being a surly, ignorant employee of a legacy carrier. Either way, keep your mouth shut until you have something intellegent to say. By that criteria, we'll never have to hear from you again!

I Agree...Just because South West Put Thousands of Peoples Lives in Danger including Their Own Employees is No Reason To Call them a Crappy Airline

FAA puts people at risk every day, They gave ECLIPSE AVIATION a PRODUCTION CERT and the plane is no where near safe to fly. Look at that incident at MIDWAY airport last month. If not for having a well Exp pilot, there would be 3 dead people in that plane.

John McCain will resolve this favoritism of the FAA with unsafe carriers like Southworst. He will make sure that we all fly for low prices and that our American way of life is preserved. Continuing the legacy of our faithful Republicans is the only way to fix this nation. I for one am OUTRAGED over this failure to comply with FAA rules and the risk that this carrier put me in. Thank God my letters to the FAA were investigated.

Mr. Wilson your Raunchy Republicans have walked us straight into recession and most likely another great depression. You're nothing but a troubled person who has nothing better to do than write letters to every government agency complaining about whatever. We don't want nutjobs like you ON our airplanes. Freak

Pilots: Cockpits remain vulnerable to terrorist assault

If one hardened cockpit door is good, would two barriers be even better?
Many airline pilots believe the answer is "yes," and are hoping to reinvigorate efforts to require so-called "secondary barriers" on every commercial plane in the country.
Pilots praise the hardened cockpit doors mandated after 9/11, saying they have done as much as anything to protect aircraft from terrorist assaults. But planes remain vulnerable for short periods of time during some flights when pilots go to the lavatory, get meals or, on long flights, change out crews.
Currently, flight attendants sometimes block the aisle with beverage carts to prevent possible terrorists from rushing the cockpit. But pilots believe the barriers -- relatively inexpensive gates that would be deployed before pilots come out of the cockpit -- would solve that vulnerability.http://www.cnn.c om/2007/TRAVEL/09/10/protectin g.cockpits/
Oh boo-hoo-hoo from pilots. More crying and whinning from the over-paid underworked bus driving divas. GIVE me a damn break. Hard to believe that most of these limp wristed pansies used to be in the military flying combat missions and NOW they are scared. Sheesh.

One of the main reasons SW is kicking the other airlines ass is because they purchase their fuel wisely. I believe they sign 5 year contracts with fuel companies. In other words, they are purchasing fuel at the price it was 5 years ago. SW runs their business smart, this is why they are putting the other airlines out of business......

Mr Wilson You really need to get over your son being gay and stop blaming Southwest and bashing the pilots. It's not their fault and it's not their problem. Maybe you need some medication.
