Bangladesh signs $150 mn loan deal with ADB
Bangladesh has signed a $150 million loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank on Monday "to improve the railways". The Senior Secretary to the Economic Relations Division, Iqbal Mahmud and the ADB's Country Director, M. Teresa Kho signed the agreement in Dhaka on Mondy.

Drug addict allegedly tries to sell his baby boy for Tk 2,000
Police arrested a drug addict in Bhairab municipality area yesterday for allegedly trying to sell his five-month-old child for Tk 2,000. Locals said Monir Hossain, 27, son of Jabbar Mia of Chandiber Dakkhin Para village under Bhairab Police Station, was trying to sell his son Rabbi to Marjina Begum, 45, of Dipoghat area in Bhairab Bazar.
