All three small forwards have their special skills. Moorison can shoot. Walton can pass. Artest can defend and has will ans muscle to back it up. Basketball is not an "equla opportunity game." It is played to win and depending on which player will help the team win, that's the one who should play. Anything less is asking for defeat.

"Gasol hurting" is the second to last thing any Laker fan wants to hear. Hope this is just a smoke screen for giving him some extra time off to rest up after the Euros. Also gives Bynum more work so he can realize just how much he needs the mentoring of The Captain....

Walton should trade already does not fit for a great team he knows that when a request made by him to replace his position to better great player. For six years with the league no more higher expectation talent he can contribute does more offensive errors . Morrison better be in small forward as 3rd option coming on the bench need more playing time will give additional offensive and defensive which everybody will be surprise. Give him the cofident in the court like you did to Ariza.

This is pay back for his Dad's Communistic Practices during the Vietnam War. Plus Luke is a half breed anyway. Cher sang a song about that.
Anything else?

BTW, cher's song "half breed" was in reference to HERSELF.

Cher's Dad was armenian and her mom was Cherokee/English/French

growing up, they called her a "indian squaw" and suffered ridicule much like your doing to Walton.

I think Luke has got game smarts, a knowlege of the game and historical status. Plus, he gets it done with the passing, and he's down with the brothers.

Luke's one of the best passers in the game and has a basketball IQ than can match almost anyone in the league.

Plus, his BBQ joint serves up some tasty stuff!

Go Luke!

I like Luke, he is good at passing, but I think there is no doubt he has continued to struggle. I
do hope he gets his act together. I would hate to see him leave the Lakers.

Luke Walton - Appropriately labeled the teacher's pet (of Phil Jackson) by Doug Krikorian. An average NBA player at best, definitely not a starter. The Lakers regret that long-term deal they gave him. They are stuck with him.

I've always been a huge laker fan but not much of a Luke Walton one. I've yet to see why the Lakers and Phil like him so much. They say because he can shoot, defend, and pass yet it seems everytime I see him play he doesn't do much of any of those things. Sure, he has his good moments but I seem to see him get blown by another offensive player, miss open shots and turn the ball over more than doing those things well.

thats an ignorant statement the Vietnam war was wrong and we should not have been there it's one of the reasons Kennedy was killed because he wanted us out and too many people and companies like Bell Helicopters stood to and did make a lot of money being there both Johnson and Nixon had a hand in that. i don't fault any soldiers that fought in Vietnam because they were serving their country and doing what their Government was asking and as for the the people who avoided the draft they were right in doing so. it was not like WWI or WWII where there was direct and immediate danger to our country.but this has been debated for years and no one will ever agree 100% but to say that about Walton is ignorant.

I shudder everytime he comes in a game. He makes one good play and follows it by a minimum of three terrible plays.
