Celtics president says Rajon Rondo never asked team for a trade

Rajon Rondo is entering the final year of his contract with the Celtics, and will become an unrestricted free agent once the season is finished. As Boston continues its rebuild, it's more than possible that Rondo may want to leave in order to pursue a situation more readily able to win in the immediate future, and if that were to happen, the Celtics would lose their best player for nothing, without getting anything in return.
