Chris Quinn picks up 2009-10 option on Miami Heat contract

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

The Miami Heat is on the verge of having to put out a no-vacancy sign. Heat President Pat Riley said last week the team likely would be only able to carry 13 players at the start of next season to avoid the dollar-for-dollar luxury tax on excessive payrolls.

Team are moving on with trades and Pat is too quiet. He better come with something big soon or I'll support Wade out to a better place.

By the way great article about D. Cook. He is a great humanity example.

It makes perfect sense why Mickey doesn't want to pay any luxury tax in the NBA. After all, cruise ships register overseas to avoid paying US taxes too. We would all like a better product, but at least the boss is consistent.

How about Beasley to the Grizz for the #2 and then we pick Rubio? Would that interest you?

Someone should have broke his fingers before he could sign, we would have had an extra roster spot.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Virgo

Be careful you don't wind up doing someone else's work today, Virgo. There are all sorts of little tricks to persuade you to take pity on them, from pretending to be ill to making such a hash of everything that you can't bear to watch for a moment longer. Then you are likely to be asked to put in some overtime, at the expense of your social life. Grr.
