Crisp's physical delayed; Travis Buck update
I'm hearing that Coco Crisp was having a tough time getting from his home near Palm Springs to Phoenix for his physical because of a flight delay, so any announcement is on hold for the time being.
Here's a Thought: Why Would the Oakland A's Want Coco Crisp?
I think Billy Beane is an excellent GM, and I agree with most of his moves. But it's been reported that the A's are close to a 1-year deal with free agent outfielder Coco Crisp, and while I think Crisp is a fine player, such a move leaves me scratching my head as to what Beane is doing.
Prospects may be up sooner than later
In the midst of a full-blown rebuilding of their big league club, the A's are going young more than ever before.

Inbox: Is Suzuki's rep well-earned?
I love Kurt Suzuki's arm and his bat, but I don't understand why he gets so much credit for his game calling.

Here's a Thought: Possible Oakland A's September Callups - The Outfielders
Continuing what I began a week or so ago in looking at possible pitching callups for the A's, I'm taking a look at outfielders who could get a big league look come roster expansion on Sept.
The A's limited their Sept. 1 callups to three left-handed pitchers -- Dana Eveland, Jerry Blevins and Brad Kilby.
