Ross goes for 200-strikeout milestone vs. D-backs

The three pitchers who have accomplished the feat before him, Kevin Brown, Jake Peavy and Clay Kirby, have reached 200 strikeouts a combined five times. Oddly enough, the Padres could have two pitchers reach 200 strikeouts this season, as Ian Kennedy has 184 so far in 2014.

Game #145: Diamondbacks @ Giants

Josh Collmenter will try and stop the losing streak at four games, but considering the Diamondbacks have scored a total of six runs in that time, the final result might be out of his hands tonight in San Francisco. With four starts left, it looks likely that Josh Collmenter will end up having the most wins of any Diamondbacks pitcher in 2014.
