Is this anything new? We see this story every year! Punto is terrible because he can't hit. Having said that the Twins should resign him again to a 10 year deal and forget about the extra million dollars Kyle Gibson wants. See ya next year boys and way to stink up the joint.

Cabrera does have the penchant for hitting into the double play. It isn't the first game he has done it to the Twins. Still, the problem is pitching, not offense. Punto is a good utility player and a good guy to have around as a pinch-runner or defensive replacement. He has his good games. The guy does seem to put a lot of heart into playing well. Harris, however, should have been in at second base against the two Cleveland left-handed starters. Harris, simply put, can hit the ball harder, and he may be a more worrisome hitter to pitchers because he has some power.

Gardy... I don't blame Punto, I blame you! He is an utility infielder who should be used properly... You are failing in the managing department... and no one in this town has the balls to hold you accountable... we cannot afford Punto batting, nor can we afford Harris fielding, nor can we afford cuddyer batting fifth instead of Kubel, or Cuddyer playing first base...

But what is killing this team is you not managing this team properly... we have the speed to run teams into the ground, but your bunting Span, Gomez and Casilla to second with no one is KILLING us... have some balls... let these guys make a difference on base paths...

Start managing like it is your last game and this team will win, instead of the media darling you’ve become. Kelly was no media darling, he could care less about that… but he knew how to win. What are you committed to? Being the media (and player’s manager) or winning? Create the necessary tension with the players to win and start managing to win.

Corrections to the above comment.

Correction on the second paragraph.

we have the speed to run teams into the ground, but your bunting Span, Gomez and Casilla to second with no one OUT is KILLING us.... These three don't need to be bunted to second, they can steal second... bunt them to third in a tight game but only with no one out.

One other point.

Blackburn was fine before the all star break... but you made the decision to sit him down for 10 days during and after the all star break... HE NEEDS work, then his ball will sink... don't pull him during his next start... keep him in even if he gets killed... HE NEEDS THE WORK...

You have made many bad decisions Gardy... this decision ranks right up there with pushing Garza out of Minnesota and then including Bartlett into the package (because you must have felt Punto was your man) and your decision to pull Grant Balfour in favor of Juan Rincon during the playoffs a few years ago should be enough to get you fired.

Three strikes and you are out in baseball. However not in Minnesota apparently.

Gardenhire cares about playing his favorite boys and publicly protecting his butt. He makes sure punto gets good press(like bremer and blyleven) others he makes sure they get negative public reports. When he thinks "others" have made a mistake he reports it to the press to make sure he doesn't get blamed. About bremer, he constantly takes a shot at two or three twins. Ex:Sunday, Casilla wasn't even in the game but bremer found a way to blame him for the team being short of reserves. That is only one instance, but every game he will kick and massacre his favorite whipping boys. It is sickening.

Daily Horoscope for November 27

Gemini

Venus and Mars egg each other on, tempting you towards social and sexual excess. You're far too wise to find yourself in bed with a stranger, but keep the alcoholic drinks to a minimum anyway. You wouldn't want to get wild and then realize you've had a one-night stand with the boss's niece or nephew. Avoid iffy situations.
