The top & bottom part of batting order are carrying team. If the so called big bats start hitting in the 3-4-5 spots Sox will be tough to beat. GO Go sox

Why is it that the White Sox can clobber these good teams like the Yanks, Dodgers, Angels, Rays, but can't perform well against crappy teams.

Wow, what a game! If we can wail on the Yankees this bad I can't wait until we face boston! This ballclub is really starting to do everything right recently. Great pitching, good defense, and coming through with runners in scoring position. And with peavy coming back in September (the most important stretch of the year) I love our chances of knocking Detroit out of first place and heading into the post-season. Go Sox!!!!

IF the Sox win tomorrow, will Girardi confiscate all of the harmonicas before the trip back to the airport??? Some of us Sox fans remember Phil Linz (and the Mick ... not to mention Yogi) like it was yesterday!!!

At least we had a doubleheader on that Sunday in '64.

Ozzie will screw it up. Put Ramirez at the top of the order again. Lets let Cora run the club and keep Ramirez down in the order. Keep the all Caucasian infield intact they play as a unit. Ramirez lacks focus put him in center.

That will be something that will have to wait since Ramirez won't be back until Wednesday or Thursday.

But I do agree that he needs to move out of the 2nd spot and start hitting again like he is capable.

Good win and good job on all the hitting. I love how Thome was able to run through most hit and score. I was a bit disappointed that Konerko is very slow and kind of clot up the runs whenever AJ would hit what could of been a double. Anyhow, I still love Paulie and hope that he continue to give us good performance all around.

Oh ya, Dank did a good job and hold them down as much as he could.

Looking forward to going to tomorrows game.:)

LET GO WHITE SOX!

Tim McCarver said "Baseball is a funny game"

Yankees was the hottest team, with Burnett as the hottest pitcher in the league.

Sox come in with their tails between their legs from the Minnesota series.

Look what happen, Sox can sweep the Yankees on Sunday.

Does Beckham have more RBI's than Bradley now? I bet he does!

Cardinals won again tonight.

Cubs hanging in there in the 7th with the Marlins.

I see Kyle Farnsworth in Jeff Smardzija.

Three weeks ago, I said Gordon Beckham will be just as good as Chipper Jones. This guy will be a Sox fixture.

Peavy will not do a thing for this team this year. Next year will be a different story. That is what Nada Surf is texting to everyone.

Cleveland had no takers for Kerry Wood. Waiver deal is the next step.

Question of the night is - If White Sox fail to make the playoffs this year, who do you blame?

A - Ozzie Gullien

B - Kenny Williams

C - Cub Fans

D - Nada Surf

We lost the pennant by one game that year. Won 98 games.

Peters won 20 games and Pizarro 19. Horlen had an era of 1.88. Hoyt Wilhelm was the closer.

Pitching won it all because our lineup was

1b Tom McCraw
2b Al Weis
SS Ron Hansen
3b Pete Ward
RF Mike Hershberger
CF Jim Landis
LF Floyd Robinson
C JC Martin

Only Robinson hit for average (0.301) and only Hansen (20) and Ward (23) hit home runs. They came in second to the Yankees who won 99 and were loaded with power hitters.

The Orioles came in third with 97 wins, and Milt Pappas, who later in his career moved to the Cubs, used to kill us. We could never beat him and I say he cost us the pennant and world championship that year. He hates Froemming. Sox fans hate him.

Why are there Cub fans on this board?? Sox-sessed again??

Why is Nada a punk bee-yatch? Who cares??

Why are you knuckleheads worried about the announcers when the product is on the FIELD?!?!?

Why are there dummies who were calling for Ozzie and Kenny's head when they are the MOST successful GM/Manager in Chicago??

Idiots.....

Grab some bench... Gass.. he gone!

This is a rebuilding year plain and simple. Whether they win the division or not is inconsequential, as they have made themselves better with the next three years in mind. KW will have the best starting four in the majors and more money than he has ever had to work with the next few years. Add to that a nice young core that has gotten baptism by fire this year and he will fill in the pieces to make another serious run if not win it all. KW and Ozzie are not only the best GM and Manger in Chicago, like it or not they are one of the best one two punches in all of baseball.

I bet you will have many Sox fans disagreeing with you about if this team does not make the playoffs this year. You play now to win, not for next year. Williams is hoping (or praying) that Peavy can pitch in the Playoffs.

I am not up-to-date with the Sox farm system, but do they have enough prospects for Halladay ? I would not trade Beckham, but everyone else is on the market if the Sox can pull off a trade in the off season.

Don't worry about the Sox. Just worry about your team.

25 overpaid players, who don't understand what their manager is saying. Some are rookies, some are good players, some are crummy players, some have ego problems and believe their crap is worth more in gold. One player is heading for the HOF when his career is done, some of these guys will be car salesmen by the end of 2012. Most will be golfers or fisherman in October, while watching their crosstown rivals playing ball in October.
Reads like a better description of scrubs.
