I cannot say how much I hate kevin gregg. He is not a closer and hendry needs to fired for signing this worthless sack of junk. He needs to be released. I repeat, GREGG IS NOT A CLOSER!!!

Can some one please tell me why we keep this guy??? He consistently will give up hits and runs. Sure, he will get wins, but only after scaring the crap out of you. No one fears our closer, after all, he is good for the batting average!

No bullpen=No playoffs. What a disappointment. Cubs sure could use a lights out, lock down closer like J. Broxton/LA. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

The Cubs need to find a different closer. Gregg isn't making it happen. Heilman isn't doing the job either. Hopefully Lou will finally try somebody else. And, what a pit because Dempster did a great job this evening. Lets go to Cincinnati and win that series.

How many times does Heilman have to screw up before Lou quits using him?

Do we really need to ask what we do with Gregg?

I do not hate Kevin Gregg, but I would like to see BJ Ryan soon. Gregg has proven he is no closer. The Cubs need to score more runs.

If I never see Kevin Gregg throw another pitch it will still be too soon. Can Sam Fuld pitch? He's gotta be better than Gregg.

I wish they had left Angel Guzman in the game to handle the ninth inning. He seems to be the only reliable arm in the entire bullpen.

I have been following the Cubs since 1947, and this loss is the most pathetic one that I have ever seen. Who is the closer for the Iowa Cubs? Bring him up and send that idiot Gregg back down. Fans should boycott the Cubs and only fans that have signs that say "This is my first Cub game" should go to the games

Wow. How can Lou watch this? How can we watch this? Gregg looks ever worse in HiDef. For whatever reason it is true that when Soriano doesn't hit the Cubs die. It was embarrassing watching Lou move Soriano around the infield, praying that no one would hit the ball to him Saturday night. Isn't Soriano a former infielder? How do you forget to field a ground ball?

The Cubs have the third highest payroll in baseball -$100+ million dollars more than the fishies. A payroll almost double the Cardinals ... and the Cardinals suck. Pujols in a month long decline and he looks really unhappy. How can the Cubs not be doing better? I guess $134,809,000 doesn't get you what it used to - and that doesn't even include Lou's salary.

How much more can we take?!

More games like this and we won't be seeing too many of those signs.

the cubs almost won every game in fla when this numbskull was pitching for the marlins // i thought thank God , at least we don't have to deal w/ this guy on the cubs , and then they trade for him in the off season // as poster #1 said , he is not a closer // to add to the insult , we get rid of DeRosa who WILL come back to haunt us on the Cards // after all why keep a guy who can play a minimum of 5 spots ( no one on the Cubs ever gets injured anyway ) and then sign a terrell owens act-a-like who has trouble keeping the out count // typical nit-wits running this bankrupt juggernaut // who wants to be in 1st place anyway -- that's for losers // oops!! time for my prozac -bye
