A Much like we discussed Manny Parra yesterday , David Purcey was a pitcher who was on many peoplea TMs radar as a breakout candidate for 2009.A That clearly didna TMt come to pass, however.A Besides his 6.19 ERA and 1.75 WHIP at the major league level, he struggled at Triple-A, posting a 4.46 ERA and 1.51 WHIP.
