Tides' rally wasted as they open trip with loss at Indy

Indianapolis scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning Thursday night and went on to defeat the Norfolk Tides 9-7 . Chris Snelling and Jeff Salazar had RBI singles for the Indians in the eighth off reliever Chris Ray as the Tides opened an eight-game road trip .
