For One Night, at Least, It's All Good for the O's
BALTIMORE, Sept. 11 -- After watching his team beat the Cleveland Indians, 6-3, on Thursday night, a tidy victory mostly devoid of the pitching misadventures that have become a matter of routine, Baltimore Orioles Manager Dave Trembley was blunt.
Said Trembley, "I need a few more of them for it to be a relief, let's be honest there."
The Orioles salvaged a split in the four-game series and won for just the second time in 12 games. But even more important, and closer to Trembley's point, the Orioles showed they were capable of playing a type of game that could make the waning days of the season a little more bearable.
