Jose Ramirez making most of starting job at shortstop with Asdrubal Cabrera gone

When the Indians handed young reserve Jose Ramirez the starting shortstop job after veteran mainstay Asdrubal Cabrera was traded at the July 31 deadline to the Washington Nationals, no one was entirely sure what the Tribe had in the pint-sized infielder. If nothing else, the second half of the season would give the Tribe brass the opportunity to access Ramirez's strengths, weaknesses and future potential.
