Milwaukee Brewers Sign Matt Treanor, Get Misty May as Bonus
The Milwaukee Brewers recently signed catcher Matt Treanor to a minor-league deal, in hopes that he will compete for the backup role out of spring training.
The Brewers reached agreement on a one-year contract with veteran catcher Greg Zaun worth $1.9 million as a base salary with $600,000 in incentives.A A 2011A club option at $2.25 million, with a $250,000 buyout is also part of the deal.
