Burlesque show to celebrate the end of term
On Bank Holiday Monday the ladies from the university's Burlesque Society will take to the stage at Preston's Blitz nightclub for their 'Through the Decades,' show with routines performed to music ranging from Frank Sinatra, Elvis, and Adam and the Ants, to modern-day hits from Michael Buble , Paulo Nutini and Glee.
When Adam and the Ants played the Roundhouse in May 1978 , they were greeted by fans in fetishwear, a testament to the band's interest in sexually leftfield lifestyles.
