Its such a shame that she forgot how to swim that day. We will allways remember her jumping off that diving board high on crack.

You will be missed.

I wonder why would Morgan officials let this young lady's funeral be held on campus, because she was not a Morgan Alumus and had no ties to the school? Second, I looked at the pictures of the funeral in the Baltimore Sun and it looked like one ghetto funeral. Haven't young blacks learned how to dress when attending a funeral? Most showed up in jeans or very casual. On a good note, the young women appear to do positive things with her life. What a waste at 27 years old.

I will forgive you for being so insensitive and God forbid that someone in your family has a tragic accident. If you believed that she was high on crack everyone who loved her and her family would appreciate if you keep that to yourself. You are just wrong and low down.

I do realize that someone who would say something like this at such as time as this must be high on crack. So sucker go back under the hole that you crawl out of. Crack head!!!

I agree, it was inappropriately to state, this young woman was on "crack". Although I have never heard of her, after reading about her, it sounded like this young woman did a lot of positive things in her life. Other young black men and women can learn from this. At present, the black community is in a crisis with black on black homicides, out-of-wedlock babies, lack of education, and living in poverty.

How do you know that she did not have any ties to the school? How do you know that her family didn't have ties to Morgan? How do you know that her employer did not have ties with the school especially the radio station? I would not be surprised to learn that Morgan often sent students as interns to work at 92Q Jams which was her employer. Where would you suggest that the funeral should have been? The Arena, the Meyerhoff, the Lyric, Oriole Park or Ravens Stadium? I loved the idea that this young African Americans final celebration of life was held on the campus of Morgan State University which has historical ties to our community. Hopefully, being at this funeral some of the folk that you saw in jeans or casual clothes will attend this University in the future.

Yes, young African Americans do know how to dress appropriately at funerals. It is obvious that you were not at the funeral and did not stand in line for hours just to get in the door. the line was stretched around the building several times. Standing in the hot sun for hours in a three piece suit was ridulous. You needed casual clothes on or you would have ruined your dress clothes.

Finally, K-Swift was 29 and she did alot of wonderful things in her life. She was not perfect and neither are we but her life and legacy will be inspiration to many.

K-Swift you did your best with what God gave you. now take your eternal rest.

It takes an ignorant ass s.o.bto say somethin like that. U have no respect for life at all and you probably didn't even know a think about K Swift. I pray that GOD spares your ignorant ass for a comment like that. You claim she was on crack, well asshole it takes a junkie to know a junkie.Edu cate your ignaorant ass self. Find something constructive to do with your life besides slander someone elses, ya dumb ass. As for the remark about her funeral being at Morgan,K swift was as much a part of Baltimore as Morgan is, so why not. Maybe it was held there because someone obviously knew she had a lot of supporters that would have attended. As far as a ghetto funeral, You can't make anyone do anyting as long as he love was there does it matter? If God tells us to come as we are into his house, why can't we send someone home as we are? Who are you to judge. People wise up, stop hating on each other. Life is too short to spend your time hating. Do something to make life better. Damn ignorance pisses me off.

Christina the school system that educated your illiterate ass should have taught you how write and spell. As an Alumnus of Morgan State University who supports the school financially, I have a right to ask the question, why was this woman's funeral held at Morgan if she's not a graduate? I don't give a dam if Morgan is located in Baltimore, but most of the illiterate students in the Baltimore Public School System cannot get into schools like Morgan, Howard, Hampton, Georgetown, Towson, Harvard, or Yale.

As I watched "Being Black in America" on CNN last week, the black community is in a serious crisis. I was raised during a time, you didn't wear jeans or slacks to church, Mass, or a funeral. Many of these young black hoodlums, not talking about Ms. K Swift, are lost and Godless.
