Palm trees and cerveza will be on the agenda!!!
We can hardly wait either. Our friend from Cabarete is getting excited too. He asked if we could bring a laptop with us for his daughter and school, as they are very expensive over there.
It will be nice to get back to summer wear again. Even the few weeks that we are still here is a good reminder of why we are going. Too many clothes, and too damn cold. Hate it.
See you at Jose's!

The guys were talking about Rugby - I was talking
about Football! Manchester United were playing Aston Villa, disappointing result, a goaless
draw. Could have been worse. Do you follow Soccer then?
Well we got caned 2-0 by Rochdale, still only 11 points to go before we hit zero lol. LTFC are f····d now.

Da Bishop is basically retired, a product of another time and another place that is better left in the past.

Great day for footie Steve, well - for Manchester City in particular!
Not to mention boxing but our Ricky pulled it off, he has retained his World Championship,
fantastic.
Talking about Ricky Hatton from Manchester folks.
Hadn't seen the result - that's awesome. Bet he won't be retiring for a while then!

Will be coming to Devon on Dec 4th, visiting family.
Hoping to squeeze in a visit to Cardiff Castle, read there is quite a Christmas display there
on the 5th.
Torbay ara? If we can manage it. let's meet for a beer, rather than a cyber beer.

Would rather root for the underdog.
I suppose the American equivalent would be not liking the New York Yankees.
I can only say - you either do - or you don't.
They are legendary where I come from, and have
a world wide following.
My dear late uncle played for them as did my husband's father. Founder members back in the 1920's. More recent players are household names all over the world. But......there are always those who love to hate Man U. It goes with the terrority.
I cannot comment on the New York Yankees, not having sufficient knowledge of them to do so.

I don't follow soccer. I never understood the game. I mean ...I get the IDEA...kick a ball....get it into a net. But the rules...never got them
It is HOW the ball is kicked, skill and accuracy come into play. I mean, you only have to watch David Beckham place a ball exactly where he wants it to go. Paul Scholes can kick a ball and it lands exactly at the feet of the player he intends it for, magic.

Shrewd those Yorkshire folk. I travelled through Yorkshire to my brother's when he was in Northumblerland, it is a joy in the Spring.
Daffodils everywhere. You know where you stand with people from Yorkshire I have found.

The master of the square ball was Ray Wilkins, magic.

Nice idea Tony. We are staying in Somerset for 2 nights, visiting Devon on second day, and calling in at Cardiff en route home. Limited to time away due to multitude of rescued animals. Let us work something out, I am not too au fait with the area.

No problem - assuming work doesn't pop over the horizen. Will talk via here during the week. By the way, when I did my FA Prelim Badge Soccer Coaching Course, it was in the days of Trevor Brooking. They told us how many times he had to try and cross a ball for a training video without any pressure on him. Won't tell you number, but it wasn't less than 20!
