GM, Ford, Toyota report U.S. sales rose in October

General Motors Co., Ford Motor Co. and Toyota Motor Corp. all reported gains in sales of cars and light trucks in the U.S. last month compared with a year ago, the latest signs that the auto industry may be emerging from a two-year slump.
