Some clunkers no longer qualify for cash
While the "cash-for-clunkers apparently is jump-starting the moribund U.S. car market, lots of customers are steamed to find their vehicles are no longer eligible for government rebates of up to $4,500. Vehicles eligible for the rebate must have combined city-highway gas mileage of 18 miles per gallon or less.
