I love stripped cars. I can roll windows up & down with the best of them. However, such cars are best in 2 door....with pop out rear windows which the Versa isn't. People don't understand how nice inexpensive pop out rear windows are. They are great for strong flow-thru air without all the turbulence regular rear windows create. Yes, where the empty radio unit would be, put a nifty HD digital radio (analog radio is over).

I drove Versa when it first came out. Wonderful midsized rear seat legroom in a compact car a bit bigger than normal. Great for babyseats & carrying adults on a regular basis (commuter car).

Hope the 5 spd manaul tranny has fewer highway revs than the 6 spd.

The hatchback & CVT tranny would be excellent in a stripped version too (bit extra cost?).
My wife has a Hyundai Accent hatchback which I have driven to 42 MPG up & down a 5500 foot mountain pass & to 45+MPG up & down a 1400 foot mountain pass. Bet I could drive the Versa to 41+MPG with the 1.6 liter engine.

The Versa has no height adjustment on the car seats. The Accent has an 8-way adjustable drivers seat(including height) with armrest, tach, manual rearview mirrors with inside adjustment, & mudflaps, Some dealers were selling 2 Accents for $14,000!
