Bio diesel works great and can be made from peanuts.
With diesel you don't have to meet emissions test.
That is why I am looking for a diesel volkswagon rabbit.

Large portions of the electricity you would be charging it with is generated from coal and oil fired turbines .Which really does not help the big picture .Peanuts could be a good way to help the farmers and still get the mush to feed animals no waste if peanuts are used .The first diesel was invented for peanut oil ,then the oil companies changed it to oil produced diesel.farming could be a profitable business again.

Build it and they will come. I will bet that it has the zoom-zoom of a snail, though.

I wish I had a garage. Electric cars have the potential to out accelerate, out handle, and out brake a gas vehicles. I would love to build one from the ground up!

It is a 2000 Special Edition,Ground effects,Milleum special. It is called a pearl maroon.25K,Leather seats, loaded.Looks brand new...Tan rag top, also as a hardtop.Hardtop holder 2 tonto covers one when you put the top down and the other that covers the car while the top is down,If you need to go in a store or in case it rains when your in a store example.NOTE 25K PEOPLE THINK IT IS BRAND NEW YOU CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE.Also wood grain steering wheel, and around the console.6 speed.

I will let in go for 13,500.look around this is the best looking Miata I have ever had and I have had 3.....It is a beautiful car.I haven't really put it up for sale yet,but it will sell quick.Especially with the gas and the mileage and the excellent shape it is in.

At 50mpg, 5 bucks a gallon doesn't mean shit. You wouldn't even need veg. But don't expect to sit comfrotably if you are over 5 feet tall.

BRAVO to these guys. As it is stated in the article, the battery technology is the big hang up right now. Think about it. The average high capacity 12V battery is about 12X10X8 inches. If you take off the top and gut the battery leaving the case, you could put in about 2.5 gallons of gasoline. That amount of gasoline is about 85KWh of energy storage. A battery bank made of lead acid deep discharge batteries would weigh about 5200 pounds. What ever technology is used, you need to get the power storage up and the weight and price down by a factor of ten.
