Honda intent on saving US jobs by switching models

Honda will meet growing U.S. demand for small cars while maintaining North American jobs by moving production of two bigger models from Canada to Alabama , Chief Executive Takeo Fukui said Thursday.

It's amazing, Honda shifts production and get's ready to open a new SMALL CAR plant in response to major market changes. In contrast, American manufacturers seem bewildered by it all. "But, but, what about all these spiffy new trucks and SUVs we thought you wanted to buy?" Sad, isn't it?
