Ford springs surprise profit
“It's going to be harder to find costs to take out of the system, and demand in North America is weakening.”
Ford Motor Co. posted an unexpected first-quarter profit Thursday but the carmaker said it probably will lose money for the full year as the company's North American operation continues to struggle. via Chicago Tribune
