Ford CEO: We'll focus on quality to boost sales

Alan Mulally didn't spend a lot of time talking about himself during a speech at Butler Community College.

In fact, the chief executive of Ford Motor Co. and former head of Boeing Commercial Airplanes spent most of his 90-minute presentation answering questions from the more than 500 people attending his presentation Tuesday night, part of the Harold Smith Cultural Series.

And the questions ranged from what he thought of the outcome of the Air Force tanker deal --'very disappointing to me,' he said -- to what Ford is doing to reverse slumping U.S. sales. Read more
