OH, MY...my first car was a 1970 "Plum Crazy" Challenger 383/3spd...what I would give to have it back! However, I remember trying to sell it in 1977 and couldn't hardly give it away...seems the gas prices were scaring people away from big block engines...history does repeat itself...but it sure was a sweet car!

Wait a minute isn't the Charger already available in Plum Crazy? I know I've seen a couple of R/T Chargers in what I thought was PC purple. The article says Plum Crazy returns from the Dodge paint code archive... If I didn't already drive a black Chally I'd be all over it!!

PC purple was available only on 07 chargers. Chrysler built 300 SRT8 chargers and 1500 RT chargers, all numbered.

Plum Crazy paint color is now available on 2010 Challenger SRT8 and 2010 Challenger R/T Classic models They have also added Detonator Yellow on both of these models. However, The time frame for rolling out the new colors has not been announced yet!

.....the new 2010 Chargers are also quite sharp -- we've put together a few to test for fit -- only thing I work in body so I hardly get to see finished product, but the lines sure are nice.

The time to order Plum Crazy came and went in november..I have R/T ordered and it should be arriving at the dealership in Febuary!
