NO it doesn't.
There is an old saying, it is easy to sell a young car to an old man, You can't sell a old car to a young man. GM was done and has lost this loyal Pontiac buyer of over two decades. I WON'T BE BACK GM!!!!!!!!! |

It makes no sense to kill Pontiac and keep Buick. Pontiac is an icon that offers performance, style and value, with the G8 being the star. Buick, as hard as it may try is still an old man's car and GM will not get Pontiac drivers to switch over. Congratulations GM, you have just sealed your coffin by doing away with Pontiac and long time drivers of this great car will be looking elsewhere away from the "New, soon to be defunct, GM"
