1 Did I read right, or does it look like Pontiac, Chevrolet, Mercury, Chrysler and Jeep are slowly dying too. Sad, but true.......... (And the vast majority of Auropean imports are apparently among the living now?) |

I look at the report and see that GM, Ford, and Chrysler are improving. I suppose that’s just the positive optimistic personality traits coming through. I suppose one could say OMG the American’s suck, but that isn’t me. |

After what they have experienced recently, GM, Chrysler and Ford will take more care.
But it won't matter how much they improve, Liberals will still hate them because of the fact that they are american companies. |

1 Now Ford is working on the lazer replacing the spark plug. Well hurry up Ford and get it done. Japan is waiting to copy your design. I can think of any innnovations in automotive improvments that that Japan has except for copy cat designs. |

1 The roughly $28 billion swing — from record operating profit to loss — was whiplash-fast, but the problems behind it had simmered for years. After 50 years in the United States, Toyota still imports 45 percent of the vehicle it sells there. A decade-long expansion drive added to the automaker's costs. A push to speed new models to market hurt quality, opening the door for rivals. Toyota neglected the compact cars that had made it great in favor of luxury models, large SUVs and pickups. Then it all boiled over. In January to March, Toyota's red ink outpaced the loss at General Motors, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. And Japan's No. 1 automaker warns that things will get worse. Toyota tailspin Globally, Toyota stumbled due to • Neglect of small, affordable vehicles in favor of big, expensive ones • Overreliance on Japan exports • Large exposure to exchange rate shifts • Rapid overseas expansion that added costs, strained resources • Slipping quality ratings |

The would have been doing everything in their power to hide it.
Is it true that they actually described themselves as America's no. 1 selling automaker? |

Let’s take a look at what the people say about the inferior and cheaply made Toyota Yaris:
“Toyota Yaris .... The interior material is sub-par, the engine isn't exactly confidence-inspiring (even by ...” “Some Toyota models, such as the FJ Cruiser and Yaris, are subpar performers in our tests and are not recommended despite their stellar reliability....” “The Yaris has a noisy unrefined engine, choppy Hwy ride, poor brakes and annoying center mounted gauges. the Versa has poor steering and sub par mpg” |

Here we go again with another misleading racist headline that has little to do with the article. When you see a list of the most expensive vehicles out rating the average and low cost vehicles the first question you ask is, who does JD Powers ask questions to? Rich people mostly? How does JD Power ask questions to rate vehicles? Questions slanted in favor of expensive huge vehicles? I know that I have not be asked by JD Powers about how I rate my Toyota Yaris. I guess the us lower class people who read Consumers Reports at the public library are not worth JD Powers time. The same is true for Consumers Reports. You have to buy Consumers Reports to be asked to rate your car or truck.
But you will note I rejected Consumers Reports not buy recommendation on the Toyota Yaris. I liked the Toyota Yaris so much I bought a second Toyota Yaris 3 door liftback. I love the center mounted gages. Nice to have a empty dash behind the steering wheel to mount my navigation system and ecometer on. I did a quick check on the German vehicle Forum. You oriental bashers, why are you not spending as much time bashing German imports? Racism perhaps? |

Because German vehicles are great in comparison.

They are copied by oriental automobile companies as much as American vehicles are.
